Textron Aviation today announced an extra-high-speed internet connectivity solution for their Beechcraft King Air B200 and B300 series and Cessna Citation 560XL series aircraft following the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) issuance of AeroMech’s Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for Starlink high-speed internet connectivity. AeroMech’s STC uses Starlink’s high-speed Internet technology that connects to Starlink’s constellation of Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites, providing more reliable connectivity over land, water and remote areas where traditional in-flight Wi-Fi may not provide service offers.

Beechcraft, Cessna and Hawker customers receive factory direct support, maintenance and adjustments from Textron Aviation Inc., a Textron Inc. company. (NYSE: TXT), through a global network of service and parts centers, mobile service units and 24/7 1CALL AOG support.

Customers can schedule the upgrade for installation at North American Textron Aviation Service Centers and at select International Service Centers. AeroMech’s STC uses Starlink’s ‘standalone system’ consisting of an antenna, power supply and router, and requires only power input from the aircraft.
