Silent Hill 2The first post-release update, 1.04, is now available for PlayStation 5 and PC. The new update fixes a long list of issues, crashes and bugs on both platforms. Exclusively on PC, the game now supports Nvidia DLSS frame generation, as well as a new option to fix potential stuttering issues.
On October 21, Konami and Silent Hill 2 Developer Bloober Team has released the full patch notes that recently released the first update to the horror remake. Silent Hill 2 has received high praise from critics and fans since its launch earlier this month, but some have criticized the game’s performance and pointed out a few annoying bugs plaguing the game.
This new one Silent Hill 2 The patch, which is available now, should hopefully alleviate some of the issues while also making the remake work better on PS5 and PC. For AMD and Intel GPU users, a new culling option will hopefully reduce some of the stuttering that people have been complaining about since launch. It also modifies the Abstract Daddy boss fight. Apparently the boss wasn’t working properly and that made it harder to attack you. That might explain why I was able to beat that boss without taking any damage on my first try. And here I just thought I was really good at the game.
Anyway, here are the full patch notes for Silent Hill 2 on both PS5 and PC.
