The award of the Sentinel Horizon contract underlines the growing importance of advanced intelligence platforms and innovation to protect national security
ANN ARBOR, Mich., October 28, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — Censysthe leading Internet Intelligence Platform for Threat Hunting and Attack Surface Management, today announced that the company has been awarded a multi-year contract by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) Cyber Threat Intelligence Integration Center (CTIIC) to deliver its industry-leading intelligence platform to be provided for American intelligence services.
Under the Sentinel Horizon contract, Censys will provide U.S. intelligence agencies with access to Censys’ continuous scanning and coverage of all Internet-facing assets worldwide, allowing governments to identify, manage and mitigate potential risks in real time. This monitoring enables the rapid identification of vulnerabilities and threats, ensuring that no device exposed to the Internet goes undetected or unprotected.
Research shows that more than 30% of all breaches involve unknown or poorly managed internet access. Government agencies are particularly vulnerable because they often manage large, complex networks with limited visibility into their full digital footprint. Censys addresses the challenges posed by the growing number of internet-exposed assets, which pose significant risks to national security and critical infrastructure.
