Apple’s new MacBook Pro models feature extended battery life thanks to efficiency improvements from the M4 family of chips, with some models and configurations achieving up to 24 hours of battery life – the longest ever offered in a Mac.


The biggest improvements occur in models configured with the M4 or M4 Pro chip, with M4 Max models having the same or slightly worse battery life than their predecessors. Below are the battery life of the latest MacBook Pro models compared to models from the past three years:
