The fifteenth annual Global Mobile Broadband Forum, organized by Huawei together with industry partners GSMA and GTI, kicked off today at the Haliç Congress Center in Istanbul, Turkey. The two-day event will feature an exciting series of keynote speeches from Huawei executives and representatives of the region’s leading operators, as well as a CTO roundtable discussion.
The event will also host several wireless industry conversations, namely the Intelligent RAN Industry Summit, 5.5G Industry Development Summit, 5.5G×AI Industry Summit, Mobile AI Foundation Network Summit, GigaGreen Industry Forum, Indoor Digitalization Industry Roundtable, 2024 Global FWA Evolution Roundtable. and 3rd Elite FWA Club Meeting, Microwave Industry Roundtable, Antenna Industry Roundtable and Core Network Industry Salon.

More than 1,000 guests from mobile network operators, ecosystem players and leaders from vertical industries gathered at the MBBF to discuss a wide range of topics from business model innovation to industry development and key technology directions in the mobile AI era. Li Peng, Senior Vice President and President of ICT Sales & Service of Huawei, delivered a keynote address on how to maximize new growth opportunities in the mobile AI era.

Day one of MBBF 2024 started today at the Haliç Congress Center in Istanbul. On the morning of the event, GSMA CTO Alex Sinclair presented the session ‘Accelerating industry convergence to create a better future of 5.5G’. Huawei and GTI shake hands on the Intelligent RAN project
GTI and Huawei have signed a new partnership on mutual Intelligent RAN and Ubiquitous AI Project, where the two players will leverage the capabilities and synergies 5.5G and AI. The project will kick off with a global recruitment ceremony that will take place today at the MBBF.
