BlackOps6 has finally arrived, and like many others, I’m already obsessed with the latest version of it cooperative Zombies mode. At the launch, BlackOps6 has two maps, Liberty Falls and Terminus. The first is arguably the mode’s opening map and already features a whole host of fun new mechanics, tricks and secrets, including a vault with a ton of random loot for players to unlock. Terminus, on the other hand, has an arsenal that functions in a similar manner, although cracking Liberty Falls’ vault requires a more concerted effort. The key to obtaining both supplies are the loot keys you likely collected from killing zombies.
As usual, Zombies love a good Easter egg and puzzles, and understanding the vault, the arsenal, and these loot keys isn’t as obvious as plugging one thing into another. First you need to gain access to the safe (a short and simple process that probably sounds more complicated than it actually is) and the armory. Once you’re inside, Than you get to put a key in a slot and get some decent loot. Let’s break this down into a few digestible and easy-to-follow steps.
Loot keys and where to find them
Loot keys will be dropped by high level enemies quite regularly, And by “high level enemies” I mean elites that appear as a skull on your minimap. Essentially, killing Manglers, Abominations, and Amalgam is the only way to drop loot keys.
Loot keys just like real weapons BlackOps6‘s Zombies mode, are divided by rarity. In ascending order they become green, blue, purple and gold, and the higher the level, the better the reward you get from the vault or armory. Players can only hold one key at a timeso if you visit the vault and want to make your trip count, make sure you have the right key for the job.
Cracking the safe
Now comes the slightly more complicated part. In a bank in the center of the city there is a safe whose combination contains three two-digit numbers. You will have to look for these numbers in different places around the city, including a comic book store, a bowling alley, and an agency just outside the vault yourself. The numbers are on yellow post-it notes that are easy to spot once you know exactly where to look.
Additionally, once you have all the vault numbers, which are randomly generated in each match, you must enter them in the correct order. The numbers appear on different sides of the sticky notes, from left to right. Pay attention to their placement as you memorize the numbers themselves so that you can enter the combination in one go. Failure to do so will lock a player out of trying for a few seconds, although another player can come along and enter it themselves without having to wait.

Inside the vault
Once the vault is open, a button prompt will invite you to enter, which will load you into a separate instance. Inside the vault, you’ll be surrounded by walls of lockers, though most of them can’t be looted. The ones that can have a vague outline and a button prompt when you hover over them to tell you to insert a key.
Once you load in, a timer will start counting down from 45 seconds, giving you time to enter your loot key(s) and distribute the rewards. These rewards range from weapons to killstreaks that can be deployed mid-match, granting you a brief moment of invincibility while they are in use. You can leave the vault on your own, but you can also take advantage of those 45 seconds, because that’s probably the most rest you’ll get during the round. Luckily, as a way to defend yourself from being jumped by zombies could When you’re just outside, leaving the vault (or armory) causes a sort of explosion around your character that clears a path if there are obstacles.
Looting the armory
Luckily for all of you, the armory at Terminus is much easier to enter. When you start a match on Terminus, you’ll be asked to start a series of generators that will restore power to the island, activating perk machines and the Pack-a-Punch upgrade station, but they will also open some doors. around the map. The very first generator actually opens a pair of doors just outside the building it’s in, and if you follow the path on the left you’ll go down some stairs to the room where the armory is located.
Similar to the vault at Liberty Falls, enter the armory and start a timer that will boot you out of the room once it’s done. Until then, you can use the loot keys you’ve collected to access the armory lockers and receive random rewards.
