Latest revelations – October 25, 2024
Despite the name, Magic: The Gathering’s Foundations Jumpstart is not just a collaboration with the Foundations of the same name. Instead, it’s its own full Jumpstart set, similar to the original and Jumpstart 2022, complete with new cards and reprints not found in the other set.
These sets are always a blast to play and give you the chance to get your hands on some real powerhouses. The set launches alongside Foundations on November 15, and here are all the cards you’ll find inside.
Unlike Foundations, these cards are not Standard-legal unless they were already printed in a Standard-legal set.
Latest revelations – October 25, 2024
We don’t expect many new Jumpstart cards to release before the 27th, but who knows if we’ll get any surprises before then?

White
Like the original Jumpstart set, Cats and Dogs seem to be white’s big draw in Foundations Jumpstart. Generous Pup is definitely a card to keep an eye on, as it goes wild with cards like Cathar’s Crusade or a +1/+1 counter doubler.

Multicolored
Jumpstart sets don’t tend to put much emphasis on multi-colored cards, as the pack themes are usually single-colored. The original Jumpstart only had a few, and Jumpstart 2022 had none at all. But who knows, maybe Foundations Jumpstart will break the trend?
