Bolt-action snipers are one of the most powerful weapons on the battlefield, and the LR 7.62 packs the same punch in Black Ops 6.
The LR 762 is capable enough on its own to take out opponents from afar. Even though that is the case, there is still room for improvement to take the weapon to new heights.

The best LR 762 gear in Black Ops 6
The LR 762 is a great sniper, but its only drawback is its rate of fire. This is not a problem as it can be customized with the attachments available in the game.
With this equipment we focus on improving the aiming speed (ADS) of the weapon.
With both rate of fire and ADS rate sorted, the LR 762 is unbeatable in multiplayer mode. Let’s take a look at the attachments needed to make the bolt-action sniper better:

Short Barrel is a must-have if you want to keep your movement smooth while using the LR 762. This attachment increases the jump ADS and the jump sprint to fire rate.
For recoil control we use the Ported Compensator. This attachment significantly reduces initial shot recoil and vertical recoil, allowing you to aim for your next target immediately after firing.
To further reduce ADS time, you can use the Quickdraw Grip. Since this equipment allows for running and shooting, this attachment comes in handy for the bolt-action sniper.
To increase the rechamber’s speed and rate of fire, use the Rapid Fire mod. However, using this degrades bullet velocity, horizontal recoil, and vertical recoil control. But since the LR 762 has a high damage output, using the Rapid Fire mod won’t make much difference.
For ammo management, choose the Extended Mag 1 to increase the number of bullets. This allows you to sustain firefights for longer without having to reload.
You can also choose Fast Mag 1 if you want to boost reloading, aim down, and sprint to fire rate. But you will have to sacrifice ammo capacity, which is already low with the bolt action rifle.
