Atlantic City, NJ – The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Community Outreach Team, led by Prosecutor William Reynolds, is actively engaging with students across the county to discuss internet safety, social media awareness, and the consequences of online behavior . The team aims to educate students on crucial topics including digital citizenship and social media branding.
Prosecutor Reynolds is supported by Director of Community Outreach Shavonne Davis, Detective Keith Epstein and Special Agent Richard Cornett. The group visits schools such as the Atlantic County Institute of Technology and Egg Harbor Township High School to give multiple presentations.
During their visits, presentations will discuss the risks associated with social media apps and gaming platforms. The sessions also cover difficult areas such as sexting, sextortion, cyberbullying, teen suicide and social media addiction.

Baltimore, MD – A recent attack involving two Washington Commanders fans has prompted an urgent call for help identifying the victims.
The incident, captured on video, happened Saturday in the 1000 block of South Charles Street. Investigators have identified a possible suspect but are looking for the victims to gather more information about the event.

- Police charge 18-year-old with driving under the influence after fatal crash in Arlington
Arlington, VA – An 18-year-old man has been charged with driving under the influence after a crash that left one person dead early Saturday morning in Tara-Leeway Heights.
According to the Arlington County Police Department (ACPD), officers and fire personnel were dispatched to the 2200 block of N. Harrison St. just before 2 a.m. for a report of a single-vehicle crash. Upon arrival, medics began treating a passenger who suffered life-threatening injuries.
The passenger, identified as 19-year-old Nicholas Rados of Arlington, was transported to the hospital but tragically succumbed to his injuries.
Preliminary investigation revealed that Brooks Bare, also 18 and of Arlington, was driving the vehicle northbound on N. Harrison St. when he struck several parked, unoccupied vehicles on the side of the road, causing his car to overturn.
In addition to Bare and Rados, three other passengers were in the vehicle at the time of the crash. One of them was taken to hospital with minor injuries, but has since been released. The investigation continues as authorities attempt to determine the circumstances surrounding this tragic incident.
- Northeast DC business targeted in shocking late-night burglary
Washington, DC – A daring burglary has sparked a call for public assistance as authorities try to identify the suspects involved.
On Sunday, at approximately 5:27 a.m., suspects forcibly entered a business in the 1300 block of H Street, Northeast. They stole property from the establishment before fleeing the scene.
Surveillance cameras have captured images of the suspects, which could assist in the investigation.
Anyone who can identify the suspects or has information about the incident is encouraged to call the Metropolitan Police Department at (202) 727-9099 or send tips to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. The department is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of those responsible for crimes in the District of Columbia.
